Slow things down and stretch

I highly recommend taking time out at least once a week to try a ‘Stretch’ session from the pilatesFIT online suite. Stretch is a favourite with our community and perfectly complements our more energetic workouts. There is something for everyone too with sessions from 6 minutes to 28 minutes. 

Stretch has some great benefits such as helping you to unwind by releasing tension, increasing blood flow and promoting circulation and better sleep. These classes also help you to reconnect with your breath and have a moment of quiet. This is especially beneficial if you have just completed one of our challenges.

Self care tips I swear by to relax and unwind:

  1. Walking each day ideally out in nature.
  2. Writing in my 5 minute journal, I love this one here.
  3. Nourishing my body and taking time to eat mindfully.
  4. Switching off from devices.
